New Mini Catalog and New Tutorial!

Hi there everyone! Long time " no see", well, literally speaking. LOL! How are you all hanging in there? We are having a great Summer despite the pandemic. We also just moved to an apartment, we decided to downsize with everything considered and it turned out to be a wonderful idea. Our daughter is having a blast swimming almost daily at the condo's pool. Win win. :)

Today starts the NEW Mini Catalog, which is basically the Holiday catalog, and let me tell you, it is BEAUTIFUL!!! You will love the new catalog, from cover to cover. I'm in love with every single item, it also have some "returned favorites", which is some of their best sellers from last year, yay!!

I have the PDF for the new catalog on the side bar, but if you don't have a demonstrator and rather have a hard copy, just send me an email and I will be glad to mail you one.

Also, today we have our August Projects Tutorial from our Sweet Stamping Friends! I wasn't able to participate last month because of our move, but I'm glad everything is settled so I could do this month.

There is 2 ways to receive this tutorial; place an order of $35 or more, before shipping and taxes, and I will mail the pdf to you, OR buy it for $15. Just send me an email and I will invoice you and send the tutorial upon receiving payment. :)

New Class Tutorial!

Hi there, friends! Hope you are all hanging in there, I know we are. ;)

Positive Thoughts!

Hello everyone!
I hope this email finds you safe and healthy! It's been a while since I last posted here, lots has changed but I am sure a lot has changed for you as well. We are all continuing to try and navigate our new normal, it's not easy but it could definitely be worse. If you think about it, I am sure you can find a few silver lining. For me? Even though I am homeschooling my daughter now and the house work seems to have tripled, I do find more time to stamp and create. We are enjoying meals together, lots of playing and just being in the moment without distractions. Don't get me wrong, I do miss our normal life and routines like going to Target - lol, but it is not as bad as it could've been.  

Luckily for us, we are stampers!! We can distract yourselves with stamping and being creative. 
Below you will find a couple of cards that I created to send to some friends and family, what I called a "hug" card since we can't see each other and hug anymore. And some words of encouragement inside since I know some of us are having a hard time. 

The cards are pretty simple but I think they turned out really cute. I used for both the  Positive Thoughts Stamp Set and Dies, and I have to say, I am obsessed with it. It is so beautiful! And very fitting for our current situation.

And this one I created for a challenge that was posted at our Demonstrator Page.

Painted Poppies Class to Go!

Today I have HUGE news for you! I'm having my first Class to Go and it's SO cute! The chosen set was the gorgeous Painted Poppies from the new Spring Mini Catalog. When I first saw I fell in love with immediately, it is beautiful! Each project features the Painted Poppies stamp set as well as the Painted Labels Dies. You’ll create one card, a canvas painting, a treat holder (for Dulce de Leche but it can be anything you choose) and a Poppy seeds holder. The class kits will include four projects, all the treats and non-Stampin' Up! products and the full color step by step PDF tutorial.

I am also offering the coordinating Peaceful Moments Stamp Set (that I used for the sentiments), Poppy Parade Stampin' Blends Combo and Wink of Stella as an add on with a discount here if you need/want them.

Hello dear friends! Happy New Year!! Hope your holidays were wonderful! I took some time to be with my family and my little one that is off from school. We have been having a great time together! How about you?

Free as a Bird Love!

 Hello Everyone! Hope you are having a wonderful week! Can you believe is Thanksgiving week? Are you ready? I am not... not even close. But luckily we are not hosting, yay! ;)

So I just came back from an amazing weekend  in Las Vegas for OnStage. It was amazing and what I love the most are the friends that I got to see again, hug, laugh and have fun. I miss them so much! I have made wonderful friends through this business and they are so special to me. ♥

Because of that, I wanted to finally crank it up the Free as a Bird set. It is my very favorite from the catalog but I never got to play with it because I lost my dad right around release time and I was taking some time off.
I wanted to make a tag to go with a little something that I got for "my" girls for all the support they gave me during my difficult time. :)

Once I finally set for the design, it was easy to make. I started cutting my pieces with the 2 largest labels from the set using very vanilla cardstock and the polka-dot DSP.
Then I stamped the bird multiple times and got coloring. Once it was done, I fussy cut them all. Very relaxing!

 

The flowers were fussy cut from the DSP with curled edges to give more dimension and some enamel dots to add more volume. I really liked the way they turned out. Hard to pick which color to use, they are all beautiful! Stampin' Up! really has outdone themselves with those papers.♥

 

 

 

Love seeing them all together! I added some crystal effects to the DSP bird and fussy cut that too. For the sentiment, after I stamped and punched, I cut the bottom to give the impression of a cloud, sponged the edges and added some glitter and pearls and it was done! ♥
